Background
BeNumber1 was formed to link Great Britain’s athletes and their supporters with the aim of raising and distributing financial support to the athletes and forging lasting relationships between them and their supporters.
The athletes are dedicated, professional sportspeople selected because their requirement for financial assistance coupled with their exceptional potential. They are looked upon as ambassadors for their sports and fantastic role models for future generations.

BeNumber1 allows members to follow any number of athletes on their sporting journey. Being an integral part of their sporting dream allows them to share and learn from the full spectrum of sporting emotions: winning and losing, misery and joy, failure and success.

BeNumber1 is, in essence, an on-line fan club where the whole community can get involved in learning about sport and the wide cross-section of people who are striving to “be number 1.” It provides a mechanism for those wanting information about the links between health, fitness, diet, and physical and mental performance. It is intended to be educational and fun, containing a wide variety of written and visual material generated by our athletes, and giving personal insights into the lives of Great Britain’s most talented athletes.

1. The Corporate Pixel is in fact 25 pixels - the red one in the middle is your Company pixel, and the 24 surrounding green pixels are your Community pixels that you can give out to local clubs, schools, societies, charities, staff, company 5-a-side team - the choice is yours.

2. When anyone visiting the B#1 webside scrolls over any of your pixels your details will appear in the grey panel on the right of the screen. You can then click through to your own B#1 Sportspage where you can publish your sporting highlights.

3. And your Community Pixels will also display your company details, and when you click through to the B#1 Sportspage, the beneficiary of your pixel will publish their Sports highlights.
